Malaysia–Singapore border

The Malaysia-Singapore border is an international maritime border that separates Malaysia and Singapore in the Strait of Johor, a narrow waterway connecting the South China Sea to the Strait of Malacca. The border is approximately 50 kilometers long and is marked by a series of buoys and navigation aids to guide ships and prevent territorial disputes. The border is also subject to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the 1995 Singapore-Malaysia Maritime Boundary Agreement.
