San Andrés Accords

The San Andrés Accords are a 1996 agreement between the Mexican government and the Zapatista National Liberation Army (EZLN), outlining terms for indigenous rights and autonomy in Mexico. The accords aim to recognize and protect the rights of indigenous peoples, including self-governance, land ownership, and cultural preservation.
