Legislative Assembly of the Federal District

The Legislative Assembly of the Federal District is the unicameral legislative body responsible for making laws in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. It is composed of 66 deputies elected by proportional representation to represent the city's 16 delegations. The assembly has the power to pass laws and approve the city's budget.
