China–Uganda relations

China and Uganda have established diplomatic relations since 1962, with China being one of Uganda's largest trading partners. The two countries cooperate in areas such as infrastructure development, trade, and economic growth. Uganda also benefits from China's Belt and Road Initiative, a global development project aimed at enhancing regional connectivity.
