Frostathing Law

The Frostathing Law is one of Norway's oldest and most significant laws, dating back to the 13th century. It was a collection of rules and regulations governing various aspects of Norwegian society, including property rights, marriage, and criminal justice. The law was named after the Frostathing assembly, a gathering of Norwegian chieftains and nobles who created and enforced the law.
