National Congress of Venezuela

The National Congress of Venezuela is the unicameral legislative body of Venezuela, established in 1999, replacing the previous Parliament of Venezuela. It is composed of 277 deputies elected by proportional representation for a five-year term. The Congress has the power to pass laws, approve the national budget, and exercise parliamentary control over the executive branch.
