China–Kuwait relations

China and Kuwait have established diplomatic relations since 1971, with China being one of Kuwait's largest trading partners. The two countries cooperate in areas such as trade, energy, and infrastructure development. Kuwait is also a key player in China's Belt and Road Initiative.
