Kuwait–United States relations

Kuwait and the United States have a long-standing bilateral relationship based on mutual interests, security cooperation, and economic ties. The two countries have a strong partnership in areas such as counter-terrorism, defense, and trade, with the US providing military and economic support to Kuwait. This relationship has been fostered through various agreements and diplomatic efforts since Kuwait's independence in 1961.
