Shafi'i

The Shafi'i school of Islamic jurisprudence is a legal tradition that originated in the 8th century and is named after its founder, Imam Shafi'i. It is one of the four major schools of thought in Islamic law and is widely practiced in Somalia, where it serves as the primary source of law. The Shafi'i school emphasizes the importance of Hadith (Prophetic traditions) and the Quran in interpreting Islamic law.
