The Indonesia-Papua New Guinea border is an international border that separates the Indonesian province of Papua from the independent country of Papua New Guinea. The border runs for approximately 760 kilometers along the island of New Guinea. It was established by the 1885 Treaty of Hagenei and has been recognized by both countries.
