🇳🇵 Japan–Nepal relations

Japan and Nepal have established a strong bilateral relationship, with Japan providing significant economic and development assistance to Nepal, particularly in areas such as infrastructure and human resource development. Nepal has also been a key partner for Japan in its efforts to promote regional cooperation in South Asia. The two countries have a long history of diplomatic relations, dating back to 1956.
