Israel and Somalia have no official diplomatic relations, with Somalia being one of the few countries in the world to have no formal ties with Israel. This is largely due to Somalia's historical ties with the Arab and Muslim world, as well as opposition from some Somali politicians and citizens. Somalia's government has not officially recognized the State of Israel.
