🇸🇴 Japan–Somalia relations

Japan and Somalia have established diplomatic relations, with Japan providing humanitarian and development assistance to Somalia, particularly in areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure. Somalia has also benefited from Japanese technical cooperation and capacity-building programs. The two countries cooperate on regional and international issues, including counter-piracy efforts in the Gulf of Aden.
