🇳🇬 Nigerian nationality law

Nigerian nationality law grants citizenship to individuals born in Nigeria, to Nigerian parents, or by naturalization after meeting specific residency and background requirements. The law also provides for dual citizenship, allowing Nigerians to hold citizenship of another country in addition to their Nigerian citizenship. The Nationality Law Cap 198 of 1990, as amended, outlines the regulations and procedures for acquiring, retaining, and losing Nigerian citizenship.
