Colombia and Malaysia have established diplomatic relations since 1973, with both countries cooperating in areas such as trade, education, and culture. The two nations have also strengthened their ties through various agreements and partnerships, including economic and tourism collaborations. Colombia's embassy in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia's embassy in Bogotá serve as the official channels for communication and cooperation between the two countries.
