🇰🇷 South Korea–Taiwan relations

South Korea and Taiwan do not have official diplomatic relations, as South Korea recognizes the People's Republic of China (PRC) as the sole legitimate government of China, while Taiwan is officially known as the Republic of China (ROC) but is not recognized as a sovereign state by the international community. However, the two countries maintain unofficial relations through trade and cultural exchanges. They also cooperate on regional and international issues.
