The Heart of Borneo conservation agreement is a collaborative effort between Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei to protect a vast 220,000 km² forested region on the island of Borneo. The agreement aims to conserve the region's rich biodiversity, preserve indigenous communities, and promote sustainable forest management. It was initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to safeguard the ecological integrity of the Heart of Borneo.
