🇮🇪 Holy See–Ireland relations

Ireland and the Holy See have a long-standing diplomatic relationship, with the Holy See maintaining an Apostolic Nunciature in Dublin since 1975. The two entities have a unique relationship, with the Holy See not being a member of the United Nations but maintaining diplomatic relations with over 180 countries, including Ireland. This relationship is based on shared values and mutual respect.
