🇮🇪 Thirty-First Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland

The Thirty-First Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland, also known as the Children's Rights Referendum, amended Article 42A of the Constitution to give children equal rights and protection under the law, and to provide for the best interests of the child to be the primary consideration in all decisions affecting them. This amendment also established the right of children to express their views in proceedings affecting them. It came into effect in 2015.
