Tim Scott, chair of the Republican National Senatorial Committee, told Senate Republicans Wednesday that Georgia and North Carolina are no longer on the committee’s top list of Senate targets for 2024. He said the NRSC will shift its fundraising focus to Maine, Ohio, Michigan, Alaska, Texas and New Hampshire, where the party sees the biggest chances to flip seats or defend vulnerable incumbents.
